Access Free Disk Space of iPhone programatically

Hi all,

I am fairly new to iPhone programming and to using iPhone in general, so please don't be mean.

That said, I am looking for a way to get the current free disk space of my iPhone programmatically.

I suppose it has something to do with NSFileManager and files/directories attributes, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks!

iPhone 5s rSAP

I have just got an iPhone 5s and whilst it’s wonderfully advanced in the features it offers, unbelievably in having it I am taking an enormous step backwards.  My car (an Audi & a Bentley) require remote Sim Access Profile (rSMS) in order for the in-car phone and in-car navigation system to connect to my Sim card. In fact virtually all upmarket brands use this profile to connect.  Is Apple going to provide an update to resolve this major flaw in its otherwise remarkably advanced device?

Having issues connecting iPhone for testing Xcode 5.0

I am having issues connecting an iPhone 5 for testing and debugging in Xcode 5.0. When the device is connected and Xcode opens, the system hangs.

Mac Mini Running OSX Version 10.8.5, 2.5Ghz Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM. What can I do to resolve this? The Mac goes to a totally unusable state when the device is connected and Xcode is open. The problem persists only if Xcode is open while the device is connected. There is no problem in connecting the device or in working of Xcode independantly. I don't even have to run the program on the device for the Mac to hang, just connect the device, that is all.

My iPhone 5 isn't turning on, what do I do?

My iPhone 5 was stored in a drawer for about 2 weeks.  When I took it out to charge it, everything went as normal up until the Apple icon showed up.  This is when the Apple icon started to pop up and then the screen would return to black, then the Apple icon would pop up again, then the screen would return to black, and this kept on repeating.  Later, I tried to plug my phone to my MacBook pro and iTunes wouldn't recognize my phone.  The Apple icon showing up and then disappearing happened when it was plugged into my laptop as well.

The USB wire works with my sister's iPhone 5, so does the wall plug.  My laptop also recognizes whenever my sister plugs in her iPhone so it's not the wire or laptop's fault.  I've tried holding the menu button and off button for 30 seconds, a minute, and two minutes.  Nothing happens.  I'm not sure what the solution to this'll be.  I've tried everything I can think of before taking it to someone professional.

Re: iPhone 5s rSAP

Hi BLH User. I was wondering if you got anywhere with this. I have an A7 and recently changed phone from Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which supports RSAP. The only answer I've come up with so far is to remove the Nanosim and plug it into the car using an adapter - I was given one of these free by Three. I've asked various people about the possibility go getting hold of a duplicate/copy sim, but no joy. Another option would be to buy a second Three sim with unlimited data at £12.90 per month and then to divert my incoming calls to that number when I'm driving.
